The Ministry of Education, Universities and Employment and the City of Alguazas have launched a mixed employment and training program called 'AgroSostenible', which facilitates the employment of 15 unemployed in the municipality.
For nine months, these 15 people will receive theoretical training as auxiliaries to agriculture, obtaining the certificate of professionalism, and will have paid a practical part in which they apply and extend the knowledge acquired.
Specifically, participants in this mixed employment and training program will be responsible for creating and maintaining sustainable municipal garden in the hamlet of The Romance or Huerta de Abajo, said today the CEO of Regional Employment and Training (SEF), Alejandro Zamora, and the mayor of Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández.
The initiative is a grant of almost 160,000 euros SEF.
Zamora and the mayor also signed a cooperation agreement between the SEF and the Consistory to provide unemployed young people under 25 years of professional experience municipality first.
This initiative will provide a gateway to youth employment by performing unpaid labor practices at City Hall.
The initiative is aimed at under-25s unemployed academic degree and have no more than three months work experience.
Finally, the general manager of the SEF and the mayor also reported other training such as Occupational Classroom gardening and Initial Vocational Training Program for 'Auxiliary Operations Welding and Metal Construction and Tecnoplástica'.
