The Director General of Labour of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Fernando Vélez, Alguazas Mayor Jose Antonio Fernandez, and the Councillor for Education, Isabel Zamora, were responsible to proceed on the morning of Wednesday, 21 May the awards to the ten students of 5th Primary schools in the town ("Monte Anaor" and "Our Lady of Carmen") that have taken part in the drawing competition "grows in security" a campaign that promoted year after year by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia regional government attached to alguaceño Hall-and drive among the school population to acquire healthy habits in the prevention of occupational hazards.
Fernando Velez explained that the regional government, through its Ministry of the Education, Culture and Universities, conducts several editions this contest throughout the Region of Murcia in a campaign aimed at children between 10 and 11, "that they have a long time to enter the labor market but are in a great age to start absorbing these rudiments safety and prevention, basic notions related to domestic life in the future will be useful. "
The CEO stressed, therefore, that "the objective of the contest is to show students the fundamental concepts in the prevention of occupational hazards in a fun and appropriate to their skill level way."
The mayor of the municipality has expressed his satisfaction with the quality of work in addition to the clear perception of the students presented when translating the message to be transmitted among school to learn how to prevent risks to home, in school and on the way home from school.
