The Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, by two resolutions adopted by its Governing Council Dates August 1 and most recently on 24 October, has given the City of Alguazas economic investment to boost the town's Plan of Action Against Child Poverty I started with a total investment of 1,151,326 euros to be distributed to Murcia Consistory.
The distribution of these funds has been made based on the Information System Users of Social Services, which contains statistical data on users and interventions in primary care.
A fund to meet the basic needs of households with children up to 18 years
This investment aimed at municipalities and thickens the Social Programme for Combating Child Poverty Ministry of Health, is addressing the needs identified in households with children up to 18 years and lacking first needs among its neighbors in terms of the lack of food, rent and other costs of accommodation, basic supplies, basic equipment of the residence, clothing, tools, dining and school bus and actions to support health as medicines, vaccines, sunglasses, hygiene products and diapers, among other actions.
Area Councillor responsible alguaceño Hall, Maria Dolores Hernandez Garcia, said that the aid is processed through the municipal social services.
The mayor stressed that "the technical staff of the competent Department is studying the cases where such aid may be applied."
Hernández García states that "the funding provided by the autonomous government that adds to the already budgeted this year the City Council to serve families at risk."
