People over Alguazas welcomed Christmas this Thursday, December 18, with a tour that in three buses took them to the shrine of the patron saint of the city of Murcia, the Virgin of the Fuensanta, attended the Eucharistic celebration and a concert of sacred music.
At the end of this solemn liturgy over two hundred members of the Club of the Third Age of the locality present in this proposal leisure and accompanied by the Mayor of the town, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, Councillor of Social Services alguaceño Consistory, Maria Dolores Hernández García, and Psychologist and Director of Municipal Social Services Center, María Isabel Gómez García, continued the journey of living with a Christmas luncheon, based on a varied menu of dishes from the Murcia kitchen, discoursed at the famed Restaurant "Los Cortijos" the muleña hamlet of Fuente Librilla.
Agape as the finale had a dance which many diners who showed their good artistic skills added.
Speaking of that Edil Hernández García, "as tradition, we spent a special day ahead of Christmas and can thus our seniors enjoy a healthy living environment to exchange views and experiences."
The Councillor responsible for the area also expressed satisfaction with the level of participation that occurred in this activity undertaken by the Association of Aging Alguazas and thanked everyone for their attendance at this meal.
