The best athletes meet in Alguazas Spanish Levante on Sunday February 1st in the regional championship march in individual route and clubs, sponsored jointly by the second consecutive year by the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia (FAMU) is given and the Department of alguaceña Sports, including the categories of youngest veterans.
This event was presented on the morning of Wednesday January 28 at the local Town Hall by the Mayor of Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, Councillor for Sports, Joaquín López and FAMU president, Juan Manuel Molina.
An event which also presented the "People Milla Urbana Villa II Alguazas" which also takes place on the same day.
"It will be a day when athletics will be the absolute protagonist in Alguazas," the first alguaceño mayor, noted "the good harmony between the municipality and the FAMU, which has allowed the city has been chosen to host again a sporting event relevant projection ".
The championship will feature a 1,000-meter circuit approved by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA) and that in the last edition was the scene of record harvested in the female category promise 10 kilometers by Amanda Cano, the Club Athleo of Cieza.
"This track runs between Molina and Europe avenues, starting and finishing in the latter route," says the mayor of Sports alguaceño, which expresses certainty that "alguaceños and visitors will again fill the streets of the town to follow this test" .
"In this regional competition will take part all athletes who have FAMU current license, state or regional level," said Molina.

On Sunday February 1 also held the "II People Milla Urbana Villa de Alguazas" (9:30 pm), sponsored by the local council and FAMU.
Open to the participation of students from schools in the municipality (in addition to federal runners and non-federated), their inscriptions remain open with two prices: you free for school mode (from youngest cadet, covering half mile, ie 800 meters ) and 3 euros for the popular (other categories, which run the full mile).
