The young athlete alguaceño Joaquín López raised the first step of the podium on Sunday January 25th in the category of youngest regional championship cross country team, played in the sports center "La Torrecilla" Lorca.
Defending Athletic Tee Sewer Company, the small corridor signed the best performance of the representatives of Alguazas, to be completed with achievements such as Joaquín Lisón and Jesus Lopez, who picked up the bronze.
To top this good harvest results, alguaceña Paula Rubio signed his regional team creditable fourth place in the youngest category.
"I want to congratulate our young riders both for its excellent results and for their dedication and effort," says local Councillor for Sports, Joaquín López, showing his "pride in the high level showing from an early age the sport both at alguaceño local and regional ".
In this line, the councilman alguaceño remember that this Sunday February 1 (9'45 hours) are held in the municipality both the regional championship march in individual route and clubs as the "Urban II Villa Milla Popular and School Alguazas ".
"It will be a day when athletics will be the main protagonist in our town," the mayor alguaceño, noted that local event is open to participants of all ages.
"This test is designed to foster among school-based practice sport, a goal that in the last edition was filled thanks to the high level of participation" says Lopez.
