The residents of the hamlet of Las Pullas Alguazas honored their patron St. Anton on Saturday January 17 on the occasion of his saint, for which celebrated a Mass in his ermita.Como to tradition, this solemn liturgical action of this alguaceña district, officiated by the parish priest of San Onofre municipality, Carlos Vicente Molina, attended by many residents.
The event, which was also attended local authorities headed by the local mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, counted as a trademark habit with the blessing of donuts bread and pets in the chapel dedicated to the saint and built in the last third of the twentieth century.
"This day is traditionally a day of celebration, dedicated to the patron saint of animals, which is closely linked to agricultural areas," explains alguaceña Councillor for Culture, Isabel Zamora.
