The joyful procession of rock, dance troupes and groups took place on Saturday 14 February with a parade that started from the Freedom Square of the town
More than 300 people participated on Saturday 14 February in the great Alguazas Carnival parade, organized by the local Department of Citizenship departing from the Plaza de la Libertad del Carmen neighborhood and arrival at the Town Hall.
The procession walked around crowded streets of the town on a tremendous display of sparkle, color and rhythm, featuring a total of six participating groups, including clubs, dance troupes and groups in the municipality.
For three hours the spectators enjoyed a procession opened the majorettes of "Galilee" association.
Behind them, the members of the nursery "Reina Sofía" Disney--accompanied of dolls representing the popular tale "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" both in their costumes as the background music.
Then the members of the club "Báilalo" dazzled with their costumes inspired by the movie "The Lion King" and put funny note the members of the club "Harmony" which were distributed among rogues and cheerful ladies that were around.
Finally, the Local Rhythmic Gymnastics Club and the "Entreaguas" threw collective fantasy costumes.
In short, a parade offered residents and visitors a spectacular display of original choreography, colorful costumes and large participation of large and old.
"We must appreciate the efforts made each year our troupes and rocks in some parades over again incorporate more participants in its train," said Councilwoman alguaceña Citizen Participation, María Dolores Ruiz.
"Our groups are the real protagonists and currantes Carnival Alguazas because behind what you see in the parade there is a lot of work," says the mayor.
