The local coordination committee against gender violence Alguazas held on the morning of Wednesday April 29 another meeting with various social agents of the municipality and the region.

The meeting was the primary objective of planning a comprehensive package of policy measures and coordination of services fully involved in combat in the municipality this social scourge.

Thus, in this table, they labeled some guidelines to follow, social meet when and victims of gender violence as well as the necessary agents to prevent behaviors that lead to gender violence actions.

The meeting, which was chaired by the local mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó and the Councillor for Equality, María Dolores Hernandez, is part of the local coordination committee against gender violence that was established in the city in November last year and of which have already been made recently other sessions.

"These meetings are vital to create communication channels to detect possible cases of domestic violence and to address effectively the victims themselves," said the first alguaceño mayor, stating that "these actions we also raise awareness against this social evil ".

For his part, Hernández also states that "all those involved in such violence must join forces and fight for that no cases of gender violence in the city are produced and why it is so important such meetings".
