The Socialist Party has been fulfilled today its historical claim to be approved unanimously by the Commission for Territorial Policy a motion in which the preparation and repair of the entire RM-531 road between Alguazas and Campos del Río is claimed.
The main objective is to ensure optimal service road conditions, maintaining the structural features of the road and the right conditions for circulation, as it has often recorded an intense traffic volume, almost 300,000 daily.
At a press conference, the deputy of the area, Jesus Navarro, deputy spokesman of the Socialist Group, Joaquin Lopez, and the mayors of Campos del Rio, Maria Jose Perez Ceron, and the mayor of Alguazas, Blas Angel Ruipérez, have reported feeling as second class citizens by the neglect suffered by their communities with the governments of the Popular Party.
Mayors are very tired of the abuse of the regional government and demand "not to be treated as second class citizens."
Navarro explained that the RM-531 road, which runs between Alguazas and Campos del Río, is a way that is very run down and not adequate to meet traffic needs to support features, so that for several years the people of both municipalities are requiring immediate action to address the serious road safety problems that the state generates.
Students, workers, citizens generally cross daily with risk of accidents.
It is a second-level road that connects the towns of Campos del Rio and Alguazas and, in turn, runs through Albudeite until connecting with the motorway Northwest-Rio Mula (RM-15).
The mayors of Campos del Rio, Maria Jose Perez and Alguazas, Blas Angel Ruipérez, stressed that the needs of rehabilitation and improvement of the same can no longer subjected to the patches that have been applied by the regional government, "a road that seems an amusement park ", but they should respond to a comprehensive action that reaches all the kilometers of this road linking the two municipalities to ensure optimal service road conditions, maintaining the structural features of that road and the right conditions for circulation.
