Fronton facilities located in the municipal sports center have been completely restored for the first time since it was built back in 1981.
After 28 years, this had only received coats of paint so that, due to ongoing own sport balls, had a dilapidated that the game was impracticable.
After the restoration made by the brigade of Works and Services under the supervision of the Department of Sports, the track was re-assembled the optimal conditions of play.
The improvements consisted in repairing the three walls that form the pediment, as well as the placement of a new, larger protective cover to keep the balls inside the sports arena.
"It was a great need to arrange these facilities, since in some cases the balls were embedded in the very cracks in the wall," says Alicia Parejo, Councillor for Sports.
In addition, the mayor has referred to the state of other sports complex, saying "we will gradually restoring a sports center so far has been the oversight of the local sport," he said.
