The municipality of Alguazas has launched an aid program for victims of domestic violence called 'Someone Like You', in which a local police officer is intended to serve 24 hours a day to all those who have been ill treatment.
"The novelty of this program is that the fifteen cases that are currently in Alguazas and the future that may arise will have immediate contact with a specific police a phone number only in such cases," said José Antonio Fernández Lladó, Mayor of the locality.
The phone's ceremony was assigned to the agent in the vicinity of the local police headquarters, where Francisco José Pérez García also received encouragement and congratulations from the local mayor.
"I will conduct a personalized care in which once every two days I will have a direct contact with victims to really feel that the local police of the municipality is always on the side of disadvantaged people," says the agent.
