Ten troupes with over three hundred people marched through the main streets of town in the great festival of Carnaval 2009.
The music, dance, humor, originality and fun were the clear stars of the day carnival which took place on Saturday 28 from 17.30.
Ladybugs, ducks, hippies, mosquitoes, mayorettes, clowns, country of 'Never Again', Wacky Races or military, some of the costumes were more surprised the public.
A hearse carrying a Don Carnal and Doña Cuaresma closed the grand parade of 2009.
"The turnout has been incredible.
Alguazas neighbors can boast of having a Carnival parade so colorful and fun as organized and participatory, "says the councilor of Celebration, Silvia Ruiz Serna.
The choreography of all the groups dazzled the crowd of people that took to the streets to enjoy the Carnival, though the weather threatened to suspend the act with a little sparking.
The parades ended their performance at the Town Hall Square, where two of them were prepared to stage a performance chirigotero.
After the representatives of all the groups received a gift in gratitude for their cooperation and the kids who participated in costume free, got a degree from the City of Alguazas.
