The Department of Equality of the City of Alguazas by the Association of Women of the town organized a meeting of Bolillo Lacemakers for the entire region of Murcia.
The event, set in the International Women's Day and Peace, gathered over a hundred amateur to roll in the Town Hall Square where the large audience showed the difficulties of the art of weaving.
"Women who do this work claim to have patience.
The nice thing is seeing more and more men are interested in this wonderful art, "said Maria Auxiliadora Bermudez, Councillor for Equality.
In addition to the local women, a large representation of Murcia lace attended the meeting as associations of Ceuta, Molina de Segura, Murcia and Cartagena La Palma, Beniaján, Jumilla, San Javier, Los Dolores, Abanilla, Espinardo.
Even one of the participating associations arrived from Alicante.
Throughout the evening, lace makers explained to the stakeholders who came to see the completion of its work on practical process carried out at all times to report that "we must be very patient."
Notably, on Sunday afternoon was enlivened by the songs musically a Tuna, which came one by one all the officers of the lace makers.
