Eighteen artists from all parts of Spanish territory came to Alguazas to capture in his paintings the landscape of the parish church and its surroundings.
With six, seven or even nine hours ahead, artists placed their easels in different parts of the town and began to paint.
Impressionism, realism, cubism, watercolor, oil, wood or glass, the artist was free to transform a blank canvas into a finished work.
Last year the main theme was the old tower and this time the Church of San Onofre.
"Every year we choose a meaningful place in our town.
This year attendance has been great painters and high level competition, "said Isabel Zamora, Councillor of Culture.
The first prize consisted of 600 euros and is awarded to Antonio Cantu, the second, 300 corresponded to Pablo Rubén López, the third, also 300, Joseph French, and the fourth, valued at 200 euros, Francisco Antonio.
