The Department of Education of the City of Alguazas launched the campaign to prevent the risks offered by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia "Growing Security," in which students in grades 4 and 5 of 'primary Monte Anaor public schools and Our Lady of Mount Caramel have learned the different security measures to be taken to prevent accidents of all kinds.
Following the training, students participated in a painting contest in which they reflected the knowledge about safety.
How to cross the road, promoting healthy lifestyles, security measures for travel by car, are some of the main topics that students have used for his paintings.
Of the hundreds of participants, ten of them have been the winners and have gone to the Plenary Hall of the City to receive from the mayor of the municipality, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, Employment Security director, Tom Perez, Councilmember Isabel Zamora Education, the awards for the best drawings.
"The health and safety is primarily a problem of work habits and education.
We must teach in schools the seriousness and dangers to ignore these recommendations, "says Lladó.
The first prize went to Sarah Bravo Ward, Monte Anaor school and the second prize went to Rosario Fernandez Canovas, Our Lady of Mount Caramel.
For his part, Director of Occupational Safety and Health said the message the winners wanted to express with his drawings, encouraging these to also transmit their home.
"You must tell your parents what you have learned about job security, a reminder that we all care not to commit indiscretions that may regret.
"Said Perez.
The awards received by students have included a MP4, a hat, a shirt, a box of crayons and an original CD of the educational game "Grow Security."
In addition, the student who has received the first prize was also presented with a next-generation camera.
