The event, part of the XIV National Folklore Festival "Villa de Alguazas" will take place on Saturday May 30 at the Town Hall Square Alguazas where, in addition Huertano of the Year, Rock The Mill awarded the titles of Mayor Godmother Children and Godmother 2009.
Dr. Navarrete recently attended the charity dinner of the local board of the AECC to Alguazas, on Sunday 29 February at the Kairo's of Lorquí Restaurant, where he accompanied Mayor Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó and board members in a day in which the money was donated to the AECC in the Region of Murcia which he presides.
NAVARRETE AGUSTIN MONTOYA
Dr. Navarrete, as known in the Region, is all energy.
Albojense of birth, was born in Albox (Almería) on 15 July 1943, married with two sons and a daughter came to Murcia in 1967 started to work as an intern in the old Arrixaca, was the doctor who developed the first history of this hospital.
In 1976, he worked with other Spanish doctors in creating the specialty of Oncology and is currently Head of Oncology, Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca.
He has published many scholarly research on this issue and in 2003 the King granted him the Medal of Civil Merit Commendation.
President for 10 years in the Region of Murcia the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
