The Hall Alguazas Town Hall was the setting for the presentation of the poster of the XIV Festival of Folklore Village Alguazas.
It brought together neighbors, components of the folk group, association representatives and members of the government team which could see the magnificent work done by the renowned painter alguaceño Pedro Serna.
The table illustrates this poster, "The Huertano" is an unpublished work of the author who represents the figure of a dancing one jot huertano Murcia.
The event was chaired by the Mayor of Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, which highlighted the impeccable record alguaceño group that has represented our city in countless national and international competitions.

The mayor wanted to refer to more than 50 people who compose the song and dance group composed of a rondalla, with guitars, mandolins, lutes and tambourines, a choir and a dance corps divided into two groups: group owner and group child.
For his part, President of Grupo de Coros y Danzas El Molino, Pedro Barquero, began by thanking the support shown by the City for this festival will be consolidated as one of the largest in the region.

The XIV National Folklore Festival "Villa de Alguazas", to be held on Saturday May 30, will be invited to the group of bagpipes MENCIA Leon.
The event will give the traditional Huertano of the Year award, which this year was awarded to Dr. Agustin Navarrete Montoya, Head of Oncology, Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca and current President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer the Region of Murcia.
