On Wednesday 20 May, officially opened the exhibition "Art, Music and Culture" that includes the work of students performed on the occasion of World Book Day.
A Book Day this year has been devoted to Andersen and traditional stories, developing acts as diverse as a visit to the library where students of all classes enjoyed a few moments of silent reading and learned smaller operation This municipal facility.
Students in 4, 5 and 6 performed a storytelling aimed at kids of 1, 2 and 3 primary.
Another activity undertaken by the students of first and second cycle has been the development of murals and books of short stories in small groups.
The smallest have created drawings, bookmarks and murals inspired by the stories.
These murals have been exhibited in the Exhibition Hall of the Library.
The theater has been present during the course of the week.
Thus, parents of students of AMPA staged the play "Peter and the Wolf" which, along with puppet performances by students of 4, have brought the art of interpretation to all students.
During the opening of the exhibition, Josefina Cantero, director of CEIP N ª S ª del Carmen, thanked all those who have made possible the development of activities: the Department of Education has always shown its full cooperation with the center, mothers and parents who have turned to this project and, of course, to other teachers without which no activities have taken place.
Isabel Zamora, Councillor for Education, welcomed the work done and encouraged the school management and teaching staff to continue these training activities that offer students a fun and entertaining learning.
