The Friends of Guatemala continues to perform its work in assisting and contributing to the development of the people of Guatemala.
Currently, the local association is working on the construction project different school kitchens.
For almost a year, the Government of Guatemala subsidizes part of the creation of these kitchens.

The mothers of the kids that are responsible for preparing food in these small kitchens, which are being very withdrawn in villages, which have a small school, thanks to the products they receive from the Guatemalan government.
The kitchens are being built in the different schools that exist in the area, since one of the purposes of this initiative is that children can eat at school, thereby avoiding travel long distances, which can sometimes take up to two hours to get home and back again to school.

Eating solidarity
