The students of second cycle primary school in Alguazas Monte Anaor have today a very special kind of story.
The lesson has not been in his usual classroom study and neither have they read in their history book.
On this occasion it was the very Tower of The Old Spot which has served as a classroom to tell you first hand their own history.
In total more than 100 school children of Alguazas Monte Anaor have participated in this field trip.
The day began with a walk from school to the nearby Monte Anaor Tower of the Old Spot.
Once at their destination, the students have known the origins and history of the Old Tower and the municipality of Alguazas.
They have also visited the ethnological museum, which houses the tower and were able to enjoy the exhibition of the painter Emilio Murcia Villaexcusa, which until November 8 will be open to the public in the exhibition hall of the Old Tower.
The purpose of this trip has been that over 100 students learn first hand their own history.
So after the visit, they have delivered some leaflets with different games and questions that have been shown everything they have learned during the day.
The visit to the Old Tower of The Spot is supplied from the departments of Culture and Tourism of the City of Alguazas to all schools, not only the municipality but the entire region of Murcia.
