Due to high rates of violence today, from the Department of Equality and Social Services has been decided to organize a defense course.
A group of women have begun Alguazas, Thursday 12 November, a defense course.
A local police with training in this area is responsible for teaching the course, which is aimed at females of all ages in the municipality.
The course aims to teach participants about basic self defense techniques.
During the four days of the workshop, the women learn how to defend against possible attacks and above all, gain more confidence in themselves.
This is the first time you perform a course of its kind in the locality and due to the acceptance that has been the same since the Department is planning another longer.
