In just over a year and a half of existence the website of the City of Alguazas www.alguazas.es has reached 100,000 visits.
This virtual space began operating in May 2008 with the aim of becoming a link between Alguazas City Council and all those who wish to stay informed on developments of the borough.
In fact today this site has become the local media and read more neighbors than neighbors arrive.
Precisely for that information reaches those who request, the City Council website has a section of subscriptions, whereby each time the page is updated, who subscribe to it receive an e-mail in your email.
There are currently over 200 people subscribed to this service.
Throughout his career have been over 400 news that have been published in this virtual space.
All related mainly to the activities of the municipality, schools and associations in the municipality but also had room for news about other events that have been important or remarkable in Alguazas.
Some of the most visited by Internet users is the Agenda, which is used to report on events before they occur.
Here neighbors can know the agenda of the next plenary session, to know what cultural activities will be undertaken in the coming days or get information on training courses will be taught in the township.
Another area that has wide acceptance among users is the gallery of images, with more than 60 paragraphs in which you can see photographs of the celebrations of the municipality and its districts, sports tournaments, Easter or the last flood of the River Mula.
