The last Governing Council, held on 20 November, approved the signing of agreements between the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment and eight councils, including Alguazas is to impart the training offered to adults equation.
The agreement specifies that the Department assumes the total cost of the training offer and the City Council agrees to lease the facilities where classes are taught, in this case is in the Multipurpose Building Plaza de la Iglesia de San Onofre of Alguazas.
The training offer for adults, which is being conducted during the 2009-2010 academic year in preparation for Alguazas covers ESO tests and three courses, one's literacy level 1, another related to driving license and a third of Spanish for foreigners .
Currently, over 100 alguaceños are enrolled in one of these teachings.
The most popular course is the preparation for the tests of ESO, which has a waiting list of 15 students.
