Mozart, Beethoven and Franz Krommer were the stars of the concert by 'The Imperial Harmonie' in Alguazas.
The concert, entitled 'Music at the Viennese court of Emperor Joseph II', is part of the music program Alguazas autumn, and was attended, among others, the mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, and the Councillor for Culture, Isabel Zamora.
The concert began with several works of Franz Krommer which was followed by the Rondino of Beethoven.
After them came the turn of Mozart and "The Imperial Harmonie 'sang the operas The Magic Flute under Heindenrich Karl, and Don Giovanni under Josef Triebensee.
The purpose of this program was to show the listener a part of a varied repertoire that performed the call-Kaiserliche Königliche Imperial Harmonie.
So the first part consisted of amusements, partitas and original serenade for wind octet and double bass, while the second part had made arrangements in the eighteenth and nineteenth of overtures and arias from popular operas in this Mozart case.
Music programming Alguazas autumn, complete with an instrumental chamber concert by the duo Mengual, which took place on 22 November with an exhibition entitled 'Music Plastic' that until next January 10 will be open in the The Old Tower Spot.
