In the coming days, the City of Alguazas and the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration signed an agreement in which it is stated that the regional body has made a grant of 100,000 euros to municipal councils.
This money, which the council has received from the autonomous region, corresponds to the future Phase I Early Childhood Center in the municipality and shall be fully devoted to the construction of the building, whose construction is scheduled to begin early next 2010.
For next year, the Consistory of the town will receive another 100,000 euros, corresponding to the second phase of this project, which has provided only Alguazas the land where the building will be located.
The purpose of this new building, whose beneficiaries are children under six years, is to provide individual attention and specialized services to children, who either temporarily or permanently suffer from a developmental disorder or at risk of autism.
Also serve to advise and train the parents of these children.
This series of planned actions are preventive, comprehensive and interdisciplinary.
Early Childhood Center, the first of its kind with which the town will, have 40 seats and be located in a municipal lot is located on the extension of Avenida Alfonso X El Sabio, next to the Day Care Center of the locality.
