The Department of Education of the City of Alguazas receive 200,000 euros from the Ministry of Education for remodeling CARM Infant School Reina Sofia.
Of the 300,000 euros, which will invest in improving education center, 66% will come from the region.
By next May is scheduled to start the works for the complete reconstruction of the classes that currently has the child center.
The work will consist in the creation and provision of two classrooms in the Infant School Reina Sofia.
The works include the improvement and upgrading of facilities with which the school has now adapting to current regulations.

The construction of two classrooms will expand by 36 the number of places, in addition to those already created before the current government.
Thus the end of the term the number of places will be doubled from the year 2007, thus satisfying the demand for children from 0 to 3 years in the coming years.
This is made possible by the expansion of the Reina Sofia, and the construction of the Center for Child Care, recently completed, the construction and equipment has been funded by the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration, while the municipality has alguaceño provided the necessary ground, also part of the infant school playground.
Thus, the two schools are located in the same space.
