Association members, merchants, businessmen have gathered in the Plenary Hall of the City Council and have come to Alguazas ceremony chaired by the mayor of the town, José Antonio Fernández LLadó, and Council Member for Employment, Isabel Zamora, which have been informed of the Programme Leader.
Cristina Lopez, manager of the Association for Integrated Rural Development (ADRI) Municipalities Vega del Segura, has been commissioned to explain to the audience what the Program Leader, who can benefit from it and what requirements must be met, including issues.
The Leader Programme is a European initiative which aims to promote development in these disadvantaged areas, particularly rural, both economically, as heritage or cultural.
One initiative that must be carried out involving the local population, government and private companies.
The main benefactors of this aid are small businessmen, traders, farmers, who either want to start a business or do you want to make improvements to existing businesses.
In this case, aid could benefit up to 50%.
Partnerships are one of the groups that can join this program and apply for a grant, which in this case would reach 100%.
Either employers or associations, both receive the European Social Fund money sunk.
