The director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, Veronica Lopez, accompanied by the Mayor of Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández LLadó, today introduced the Comprehensive Youth Plan of the municipality, a document which sets out actions to meet needs of more than 2,300 local youths.
He also attended the presentation, the project director, José Antonio Rodero.
In the new plan will serve as a tool to analyze the current situation of youth Alguazas and establish lines of action to improve the situation of this group.
Veronica Lopez said that "this plan should focus in all facets and needs of youth and thus mobilize the great entrepreneurship of young people in all areas of society such as employment, housing, education, leisure or culture. "
To start the project will be an analysis and diagnosis of township youth, through surveys and meetings with professionals who work with youth, then raise a number of alternatives for action and define the objectives to be achieved on youth to Alguazas in the coming years.
Among the initiatives aimed at youth group Alguazas has the information and advice service youth 'Informajoven', involved in the decentralization program information 'Youth Correspondents' education project for participation 'Nueve.e', both the Institute of Youth and the campaign 'Alguazas Interactive', which spreads through 'sms' cultural activities and leisure that are developed locally.
