The Councillor for the Environment, Javier Gambín, visited the IES Villa de Alguazas.
There, about 100 secondary school students have participated in an activity organized by the Department of Environment, which owns Gambín.
The activity was divided into two parts.
In the first, students in Villa de Alguazas have received a talk by an Environmental Technician alguaceño Consistory.
The refuse of the town, the need and benefits of recycling, what can we do to preserve the environment or the importance of recycling are among the topics to be discussed in the talk.
Later, attendees and Environment Councilman own proceeded to plant a Aleppo pine, which have been granted by the Autonomous Region through the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, in the courtyard of the school.
The objective of this initiative is to encourage younger members of the need to respect the environment and the awareness on this issue.
