The Full Council of Alguazas has endorsed, unanimously, to the implementation of Community Kayros Program in the municipality.

This is a health project, a pioneer in Spain, which aims to improve the forward planning of health care.

Kayros Community Program will be launched in Alguazas Health Center in collaboration with the Research Group Bioethics and the support of the Management Area VI.

Since yesterday also has the support of the municipal corporation.

In fact, the mayor of Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, pledged to cooperate with this project and reached out to those responsible for him to ask the municipal corporation all the help they need.

The motto of this program, which is based on an international project is underway for 15 years, is "Conversations that help 'as the main objective is to improve the quality of patient care through interviews in which they to express what they care about or what their fears about their disease.

It aims to offer patients the opportunity to experience the impact of their diseases, especially when you are chronically or terminally, reflecting with his family or friends on the guiding values that should guide health care in the future, even when they can no longer decide.

In short, this program aims to achieve a more humanized care in which matter not only treatment but also the fears, expectations and values of the patient.

Dr. Javier Júdez is the person leading this project.

With him is Dr. Abel Novoa, Medical Health Center and the main Alguazas that this project will be developed in this locality.

In addition the team has been formed with others who include members of the research team doctors Alguazas Health Center, technicians and citizens of the City Council of the municipality.
