The Parish Church of San Onofre to Alguazas has been the scene of a concert that is part of the VI Organ Concert Series Historic Murcia.
José Padilla Javier Clemente, a music professor at the Institute of Secondary Education Cabezo de Torres, has been commissioned to sound the organ of the Church of San Onofre.
This organ was built in 1734 by master builder Patrick Morata Gómez Campoy Tables and is the oldest Iberian Baroque organ that remains in the Region of Murcia.
During the concert José Javier Padilla He played a total of eight pieces by musicians such as Sebastián Aguilera de Heredia, Girolamo Fescobaldi, José Jiménez and Francisco Correa de Araujo.
This VI Organ Concert Series Historic Murcia Region will be held until March and has a total of 14 concerts taking place in Murcia, Los Ramos, Ricote, Lorca, Caravaca de la Cruz and Alguazas.
Next Friday, 5 February, the Parish Church of San Onofre again be the scene of another concert by Alfonso Saez Docon.
