Alguazas The Socialist Group has submitted for discussion at the next regular full, a motion to seek improvements in the medical office of the Barrio del Carmen.
The motion deals with a sensitive issue between Alguazas neighbors, who are adversely affected by limited human and material resources available to the said office.
The main complaint from users is the excessive number of patients (about 1800) to be addressed by one family physician's office.
This results in long waiting times that cause the patient discomfort and excessive delays in appointments.
On the other hand, the limited resources and outdated technology infrastructure that is provided with the service does not help improve the situation.
Therefore, the Socialist Party Alguazas asked the City to require the Health Service of Murcia family a second doctor and the matron service / and from doctor, preferably full time.
It also asked that the square of the family doctor is permanently occupied, to avoid the frequent changes of doctor, which always have undermined the doctor-patient relationship.
In terms of material resources, the Local Group Socialist asked the City Council to take the necessary steps to equip the clinic waiting room appropriate to the level of patients as well as technological means sufficient to enable health care workers can play with their work efficiency.
Also ask for a general adequacy of facilities, highlighting the removal of architectural barriers to allow better access for disabled people, in particular, to the nearest access to the street.
