The Plenum of Alguazas, with votes for the Popular Party and the abstention of the Socialist Party, has provisionally approved the General Plan Municipal Management, including changes with respect to the adoption in May 2009
The General Plan City Planning has become a full Alguazas after provisional approval in May 2009, with substantial changes compared to that first plan.
During his speech, the Town Planning, Francisco Javier Gambín, explained that Alguazas neighbors have submitted a total of 135 submissions which most have been estimated and are included in this plan.
This plan also incorporated the conditions required by the Ministry of Development concerning the delimitation of the variant of the Northwest, but is still contemplating the initial layout of this variant, proposed by the municipality, so that the final decision will not interfere final approval of the General Management Plan Municipal Alguazas.
Javier Gambín In this sense, explained that the reports show that the route proposed by the City of Alguazas has a lower socio-economic condition and the route of the Environmental Ministry.
Another change included in the new plan is that it has changed the flood line in the Huerta de Arriba and the place due to the demands of the Segura basin.
It has also been incorporated into PGMO creating a natural park in the area of Vistahermosa, transferring its urban use in other sectors of the municipality.
